The Story of the purest Gaby Vandenabeeleblood and the Golden Breeder “Havik”.

This combination , Erik Samson and his wife Kristine Boye, have with there SUPER breeder `DEN HAVIK` ( means “The Hawk” ) from the Vandenabeele strain, one of the best breeders in Belgian’s pigeon sport history.

“ Den Havik “BE 3142096/03 was bred out of “Havik” B94-3237085 original Gaby Vandenabeele x “ Paulien” B02-3117015 by Mark Vandaele living in Oostrozebeke, who is known for the purest Gaby Vandenabeeleblood in his lofts to.

The father “ Havik” B94-3237085 was raced by Gaby Vandenabeele and was a very good widower. Later on he also proved to be an excellent breeder. In his old days” Havik” came to the lofts of Mark Vandaele where he only filled two eggs : “ Den Havik” BE 3142096/03 and “Lady Havik” BE 3142050/03. “ Lady Havik” is still in the breeding loft of Mark Vandaele . She’s the mother of the 3th Provincial Ace Pigeon KBDB yearlings 2008 raced by Chris Dobbelaere from Marke , Belgium.

“ Den Havik” 096/03 was offered for sale on the internet.
Erik Samson, from the combination Samson - Boye, living in the city called Mechelen ( between Antwerp and Brussels ) has bought the pigeon and that was the start of the extraordinary carreer of “ Den Havik” as a golden breeder.

As you will find out when reading the article “Den Havik” breeds 1st prize winners with nearly every hen he’s mated to.
That makes him the super breeder he is at the moment.
Knowing that he’ s only 6 years old we can imagine what the future will reveal more on this fantastic pigeon.
There’s not so many breeders in the world that can show a record like “Den Havik” can.

At this very moment “Den Havik” is father to 15 ( !!) different 1st Prize winners and grandfather to 12 (!!) different 1st Prize winners !!
